This Earth Day, students had the unique opportunity to learn firsthand about the importance of recycling and responsible waste disposal thanks to a special presentation from Waste Management. Representatives from the company engaged students in interactive discussions and demonstrations, showing how everyday trash can impact the planet and what steps we can all take to reduce waste. From sorting recyclables to understanding what happens to our garbage after it leaves the curb, students gained valuable insights into sustainability and how small actions can lead to big environmental changes. It was a powerful reminder that protecting our planet starts with each of us.
