Middle School Programs

Axtell Park Middle School

Axtell Park Middle School provides opportunities that encourage all students to acquire and utilize the necessary social, emotional, and behavioral skills in the school setting to prepare them for future success. Students attending Axtell Park access the curriculum in classrooms with fewer students than in a traditional setting. The goal is for students to reintegrate back to their home school.

OSS Alternative

The Out-of-School Suspension Alternative program gives students who choose to participate the opportunity to recover credit for completed school work. OSS Alternative can be accessed through Door J.

Structured Teach Middle School

These programs are designed to work with students who have cognitive limitations and are experiencing behaviors that make it difficult for the student to succeed in the regular attendance center. Students work on academic and social skills in addition to structured workstations tasks. As students progress toward achieving their goals, they begin a gradual reintegration back to their home school.

Connecting Families to Support and Resources

Community Engagement Center

Community Engagement Center

The Community Engagement Center is a welcoming resource hub designed to support students and families in need. It provides a dedicated space where families can meet with their school social worker or liaison to access important services and guidance. The center serves as a trusted connection point between families and the school district’s support network. The Community Engagement Center is the location for the Intake Center for English Learners when they first come to the district.

In addition to personalized support, the Community Engagement Center offers a variety of essential resources. Families can visit the Food Pantry for nutritious groceries, pick up school supplies to help students succeed in the classroom, and access the Birthday Closet, which provides supplies to help children celebrate their special day. These services are designed to reduce barriers and ensure that every student has the resources they need to thrive academically and personally.
